Growing up, Trevor witnessed firsthand how addiction, poverty, and lack of opportunity destroyed the dreams of many young people in his community. Even as he rose to fame as an artist, he never forgot the silent battles others were still fighting — depression, drug abuse, unemployment, and hopelessness. So, instead of just using his voice to sing — he chose to use it to build.
